"Carden is an excellent school. Their curriculum is atleast a grade level above as compared to any other school. The teachers and the principal are extremely knowledgeable with many years experience. Their teaching methods are very sound and the importance on handwriting, spellings etc is awesoe. (none of the other pulic school teachers pay ant attention to these things). "

As an alumni

" As an alumni of the Carden Method I can rebut the previous review. The new Carden Academy is just finishing its first year of business with no transferring students. Therefore no student could possibly have transferred to another school. The student referenced in the previous review came from the Carden School of Stockton, which is no longer in business due to its decreasing educational performance. The new Carden Academy of Stockton is not associated with the Carden School of Stockton.

The new Carden Academy strictly follows the Carden Method which is proven to work and boasts high percentages of successful students who go on to attend universities like Yale, Princeton, and Harvard. The Carden Method and the Carden Academy, teach students respect, responsibility, and the tools to reason.

My education in the Carden Method is my most cherished possession. It has allowed me to excell during my private high school education and to tackle two science programs at UOP: Mechanical Engineering and Applied Physics. I know that I will send my children to Carden Academy when they are old enough."

I had already seen almost all of the curriculum I was presented with in my private high school, and was able to excel in honors and A.P. classes. The new Carden Academy has a principal with over 40 years of Carden Method training and experience. The teachers there have a combined experience of over 100 years of this Method, which focuses on giving students the ability to be successful students in their academic careers as well as leaders in their communities and in their adult lives. I am so grateful that I was able to be educated in the Carden Method, and my children will also get this opportunity. "

Don't waste your money

"Although I don't have any kids who go there, I am a local teacher who had many Carden students transfer and I was shocked at how little they knew. Many still didn't know their times tables, while others could barely read. If you want a private school, and are desperate to cut a check for your child's education, look elsewhere..."
